Private German High School visited our University with a special event held for the 100th anniversary of the Republic. The opening ceremony of the "Republic 100th Anniversary Memorial Forest", created on the campus of our University in cooperation with Turkish-German University and Private German High School, took place on October 3, 2023.

First Place in TEKNOFEST 2023 Ankara from Turkish-German University!
TAUV Team, consisting of Turkish-German University students, came first in the Deneyap Kart Robolig Competition at TEKNOFEST 2023 held in Ankara between August 30 and September 3. TAUV Team, which also came first in the Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition at TEKNOFEST 2023 held in Istanbul, achieved a double victory.

Turkish-German University Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız attended TEKNOFEST Aerospace, and Technology Festival, which is held at Ankara Etimesgut Airport on 30 August and 3 September. As part of TEKNOFEST 2023, our rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız conducted visits and observed the works in the fields of science, technology and innovation. Prof. Dr. Yıldız visited the booth of Digitalpark Teknokent, a joint establishment of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University and Turkish-German University. Our rector has met up with the team of Digitalpark Teknokent start-up companies: Rise, the winner of TEKNOFEST Education Technologies Acceleration Category; Lojipark, the winner of TEKNOFEST Transportation and Mobility Technologies Acceleration Category; Phoneq and Sab Robotics teams from the pre-incubation phase of the start-up companies, as well as with the students of our university and received detailed information about the projects and activities carried out.
Results of Research Projects Carried Out in Companies within the Scope of "Future of Work" were presented
Our Intercultural Management (IKM) double degree graduate program students presented the results of their research projects they carried out in companies for two months at the Creative Media Laboratory on Wednesday, August 2nd. One of the most important problems of many companies in the world, 'Future of Work' is an area where they question how today's attitudes and ideas about work will change in future generations, society and employers.
Turkish-German University Received Orange Flag Award within the scope of Barrier-Free University Awards 2023
Turkish-German University achieved success within the scope of the "Accessible University Awards 2023" organized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and aiming to promote barrier-free and accessible campuses at universities. Our university, which has been taking steps to encourage disabled individuals to participate more comfortably and equally in university life, deserved to be awarded the "Orange Flag" in the field of "Accessibility in Space" with its cafeteria and central library building.
Demoday Held at TGU brought Entrepreneurs and Investors Together
Turkish-German University hosted the closing event of Demoday Project. The project was organized within the scope of the "Commercialization-Oriented Sustainable Cooperation Platform: Istanbul Innovation and Technology Licensing Center" Project, which was carried out within the body of Digitalpark Teknokent and supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA). Following the announcement of the application results for the second chapter of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership 2022, which is one of the institutionalised partnerships of the Horizon Europe programme, the project with the acronym HYSouthMarmara, involving 13 partners, including the research team Asisst. Prof. Sibel Özenler, Asisst. Prof. Meltem Karaismailoğlu Elibol, Wi.Mi. Mehmet Turan Görüryılmaz, Wi.Mi. Fuat Berke Gül and Wi. Mi.
